❗️ Trump has extended the ceasefire.
He said the decision was made because Iran’s government is deeply divided and, at the request of Field Marshal Asim Munir and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the US agreed to pause strikes until Iran’s leaders present a unified proposal. Reuters reported that Trump announced an indefinite extension of the ceasefire to allow more time for negotiations.
At the same time, Trump said US forces will maintain the blockade and stay fully prepared for action until Iran’s proposal is submitted and the talks are concluded one way or another.
