In the past two weeks, the US and Iran experienced a tumultuous diplomatic process with an “80% agreement collapse.” Both sides held a 21-hour marathon negotiation in Islamabad, with serious disagreements over core issues such as nuclear restrictions deadlines and passage rights through the Strait of Hormuz, ultimately failing to reach an agreement.
