you can disappoint your brain


here is how
> choose an addiction that gives you dopamine but is an extractor of energy in your life (gaming, masturbation, smoking or drinking)
> remove anything that can lead to it happening (uninstall the game, stop visiting sites or people that trigger the addiction)
> instantly, when your brain can longer get that feel, it gets disappointed and lean towards something else that might help trigger it
this is when you get to give it a productive task to do
> pray or meditate
> read your books for 20 minutes
> go outside of the house if you are alone
> normalize eating healthy food
> drink lots of water and stay hydrated
yeah, it's not all easy but can be done
I could have easily just said pray, but it takes both actions and prayers to break off addictions most especially one like masturbation that takes most of your youthful energy and leaves you with nothing
