My First Experience with Hong Kong's Hometown Association Culture 🇭🇰

In Hong Kong, hometown associations are not just organizations—they are cultural genes carved into our bones, the spiritual homeland of generations who crossed the seas.

Hong Kong has never been an isolated island, but rather a collection of countless hometowns. Hometown associations have made "I am a Hong Kong person, and more importantly, a Chinese person" a shared consensus—they embrace dialects, respect customs, and unite hearts. They are Hong Kong's most moving cultural foundation.

A bowl of hometown tea, a few words in local dialect, a grand gathering—that is the entirety of Hong Kong's hometown associations. They carry this city's history and origins, and preserve our roots and soul.

Like a spirited horse riding the spring breeze, our homeland and we embark on a new journey together.
