#FirstTradeOfTheWeek Bitcoin ($BTC) continues to remain the dominant cryptocurrency in the global digital asset market, and its price movements are closely watched by traders and investors worldwide. As of now, Bitcoin is trading around the $68,000–$69,000 range, showing moderate bullish momentum after recovering from recent corrections. The current market structure suggests that Bitcoin is consolidating before its next major move, with both bullish and bearish scenarios possible depending on market catalysts.

From a technical analysis perspective, Bitcoin is holding above a strong support zone between $65,000 and $66,000. This level has acted as a key accumulation area where buyers step in to defend the price. As long as BTC remains above this region, the bullish outlook remains intact. On the upside, the first major resistance sits around $70,000, which is a psychological level and has historically triggered strong selling pressure. If Bitcoin successfully breaks and holds above this resistance, it could open the door for a rally toward $72,000–$75,000 in the short to medium term.

Momentum indicators such as the Relative Strength Index (RSI) suggest that Bitcoin is neither overbought nor oversold, indicating room for further upward movement. Meanwhile, moving averages show a gradually strengthening trend, with the price hovering near key trend indicators that often act as dynamic support levels during bullish phases.

Fundamentally, Bitcoin continues to benefit from increasing institutional interest, expanding ETF inflows, and growing global adoption of digital assets. Macroeconomic conditions such as inflation concerns, interest rate expectations, and geopolitical uncertainty also play a significant role in Bitcoin’s demand as a hedge-like asset. These factors could support a longer-term bullish trajectory.

However, traders should also consider the downside risks. If Bitcoin fails to hold above the $65,000 support, the price could retrace toward $62,000 or even $60,000, where stronger historical support exists. Short-term volatility remains a normal characteristic of the crypto market.$BTC
