The House of Representatives Announces a Crypto Week

The U.S. House of Representatives is preparing for an intense week of discussions on cryptocurrencies. This comes as part of a Crypto Week announced by the Chair of the House Financial Services Committee, French Hill, and the Chair of the Agriculture Committee, GT Thompson.

At the center of the discussions are three bills that could significantly redefine the regulatory landscape for digital assets in the United States:

the CLARITY Act, aimed at establishing a clear regulatory framework for digital assets;
the Anti-CBDC Surveillance State Act, which seeks to block the creation of a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) to protect Americans' financial privacy;
the Senate's GENIUS Act, which addresses the issuance and operation of dollar-backed stablecoins.
According to French Hill, “we are taking historic steps to ensure that the United States remains the global leader in innovation.”

And it must be acknowledged that Donald Trump’s desire to make the U.S. a crypto-nation is rapidly becoming a reality at an impressive speed.
