Drone Strike Sparks Small Fire Near US Consulate in Dubai
(MENAFN) A drone strike triggered a small fire near the US Consulate in Dubai on Tuesday evening, local authorities reported.
According to a statement from the Dubai Media Office on US social media company X, emergency teams quickly extinguished the blaze. No injuries were reported.
Regional tensions have risen sharply since the US and Israel launched major attacks on Iran on Saturday, killing nearly 800 people, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and senior military officials. In response, Tehran has carried out drone and missile strikes targeting Israel and Gulf countries that host US military assets.
