🇺🇸 $175 BILLION TARIFF SHOCK: U.S. COURT ORDERS MASSIVE REFUNDS TO IMPORTERS

A federal trade court ruled that companies must be refunded tariffs previously struck down by the Supreme Court, potentially totaling $130B–$175B with interest.

The decision follows the Supreme Court’s ruling that the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) does not give the president authority to impose sweeping tariffs.

The court ordered U.S. Customs and Border Protection to begin processing refunds for eligible importers, though the administration is expected to appeal while pursuing replacement tariffs under other trade laws.
