South Korea's Tax Office Leaked a Crypto Seed Phrase in a Press Release

The National Tax Service accidentally published an unblurred photo of a Ledger wallet with its handwritten mnemonic phrase.

Within hours, someone drained 4M PRTG tokens (~$4.8M face value) from the exposed wallet.

Tokens were returned 20 hours later, PRTG has almost zero liquidity ($299 daily volume).

This is South Korea's 3rd crypto custody failure in 2 months:
→ 320.8 BTC ($21M) lost after a phishing attack
→ 22 BTC vanished from a police cold wallet
→ Now a seed phrase leaked in a press release

Your Seed Phrase = Your Master Key.
✅ Never photograph your seed phrase
✅ Never store it digitally
✅ Use metal backup plates
✅ Consider multi-sig for large holdings

If a government can make this mistake, so can you. Stay safe
