Abstract generation in progress

Recently, Jinko Solar released anti-glare low-reflective components for large transportation scenarios, targeting airports, highways, elevated隔离墙, and other large transportation scenes. These components address surface glare and reflection issues, minimizing visual interference for pilots and drivers. The product is positioned with the dual identity of “highest anti-glare level and top standard certification,” providing a key green model for deep decarbonization in the transportation sector, marking a new stage where photovoltaic + transportation enters “safety-first, standards-led” development.

Unlike conventional anti-glare components, this new large transportation anti-glare low-reflective module uses textured glass surface processing and low-reflective coating dual processes, applying special coatings to effectively scatter light, eliminate dazzling glare, and significantly reduce environmental light reflection (low reflection). Meanwhile, its high light transmittance and double-sided efficiency maintain higher power generation performance. As a result, the modules eliminate glare under various lighting conditions and maintain high output.

1

Excellent Anti-Glare Performance

The intensity of reflected glare at all incident angles is far lower than that of conventional modules, with a maximum reduction of over 80%. It meets the strict requirements of China’s “Civil Airport Apron Floodlighting Technical Requirements” with a glare rating (GR) ≤50, and complies with JT/T 646-2017 for high-speed sound barriers, precisely addressing anti-glare needs across various transportation scenarios.

2

Reflection Suppression

Reflection rate is reduced by over 85% compared to conventional modules, while maintaining comparable glass transmittance.

3

Triple Authority Certification

Certified by T V Rheinland and Swiss SPF, and undergoing testing and certification by the National Photovoltaic Quality Inspection Center (CPVT). It will become the first domestically produced photovoltaic anti-glare product with triple authoritative certifications, representing the industry’s most comprehensive certification and highest technical standards.

4

High Power, High Output

Based on the mature Feihu series products, installation dimensions and methods are fully compatible with existing systems, with no additional retrofit costs. Additionally, the module’s double-sided efficiency reaches 85±5%. In vertical installation scenarios such as highway sound barriers, it can increase annual power generation by 3–5%, truly ensuring safety without sacrificing performance and doubling efficiency.

Safety is the bottom line of green transformation, and anti-glare becomes a “must-answer” in transportation photovoltaics

Driven by the dual carbon goals, the green transformation of the transportation sector is urgent. Airports typically consume over 100 million KWh annually, and large amounts of idle space exist along highway slopes and sound barriers. Photovoltaic power generation is an ideal choice for achieving zero-carbon operation. However, traditional photovoltaic modules’ mirror reflection glare can cause瞬间视觉干扰 for pilots and drivers, even leading to safety accidents. This has become a significant obstacle to large-scale deployment of photovoltaics in transportation scenarios.

According to estimates, by 2030, the theoretical installed capacity of photovoltaic systems at airports nationwide will exceed 10GW, most of which are in glare-sensitive areas. The market size for anti-glare modules on highways and sound barriers could reach 10GW. The launch of this green model signifies a shift in large transportation scene photovoltaics from “full installation” to “safety-oriented intelligent installation.”

Case Study: The Safety Value of Anti-Glare PV at Taiyuan Wusu Airport

Shanxi Taiyuan Wusu International Airport is China’s first zero-carbon aviation hub. The application of Jinko Solar’s large transportation anti-glare low-reflective modules here is highly representative—about 40MW have been successfully deployed in light-sensitive areas such as both sides of the takeoff and landing runways. Compared to conventional modules, the maximum reflected light brightness is reduced by 80%. While enduring the tailwind effects of aircraft takeoff and landing and extreme weather conditions, the modules ensure safe flight visibility, fulfilling the civil aviation safety “zero tolerance” standard with excellent mechanical load performance. The Wusu Airport project demonstrates the feasibility of the “anti-glare + high power generation” technical route in high-safety-standard scenarios and provides a Chinese example for the green transformation of global transportation infrastructure.
