After U.S. President Trump announced that Indian Prime Minister Modi agreed to stop purchasing Russian oil, Russian Presidential Press Secretary and Kremlin spokesperson Peskov stated that the Russian side is closely monitoring Trump’s remarks, carefully recording and analyzing them. According to TASS, Peskov added that so far, the Russian side has not received any message from India regarding the refusal to buy Russian oil. Additionally, according to RIA Novosti, Peskov also said that Russia respects the relationship between the United States and India, and values the strategic partnership between Russia and India.
