From the 4th to the 6th, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) organized a Chinese business delegation to visit Rabat, Casablanca, and other cities in Morocco. Taking the 70th anniversary of China-Africa diplomatic relations and the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the China-Morocco strategic partnership as opportunities, the visit aimed to strengthen communication and exchanges between Chinese and African, Chinese and Moroccan business communities, and to deepen practical cooperation in trade, investment, and other fields. During the visit, CCPIT President Ren Hongbin led the delegation in extensive exchanges with Moroccan government and business representatives, introduced China’s new measures to promote high-quality development and high-level opening-up, and promoted the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo. He stated that CCPIT is willing to work with Morocco to expand trade and investment cooperation between the two countries’ business communities, strengthen the coordinated development of industrial and supply chains, jointly safeguard the multilateral trading system, and inject new meaning into the China-Morocco strategic partnership, adding new momentum to China-Africa and China-Arab relations. Additionally, CCPIT also co-hosted the China-Morocco Business Forum in Casablanca with the Moroccan Enterprise Confederation. Representatives from government departments, institutions, and enterprises from China and Morocco engaged in exchanges and negotiations on key cooperation areas such as infrastructure construction, advanced manufacturing, clean energy, and biopharmaceuticals.
