Abstract generation in progress

On February 6th, a reporter learned from Wuliangye Nongxiang distributors and retail stores that Sichuan Wuliangye Nongxiang Liquor Co., Ltd. has announced that starting from March 1, 2026, the recycling of the second-generation Wuliang Chun series bottles (with cap + box lid) will be terminated. Bottles scanned after March 1, 2026 (inclusive) will no longer be accepted for recycling. Additionally, distributors, retail stores, and consumers are reminded to exchange eligible and scanned (bottle caps + box lids) before March 25, 2026. After this date, exchanges will no longer be processed. The reporter immediately contacted Wuliangye for verification, and a relevant staff member responded, “This notice was not officially issued by the Nongxiang Liquor Company, but the policy information is accurate. This change is part of a normal brand market policy transition.” (Daily Economic News)
