The 2025 crypto market has changed: liquidity concentration has intensified, and the rebound cycle of altcoins has shortened to 20 days.

【CoinPush】This year’s cryptocurrency market performance has not been as strong as expected. But from another perspective, this could be a sign that the industry is transitioning from a speculative-driven phase to a more regulated asset class.

The cyclical pattern of the past four years has failed. The previous self-fulfillment time expectations no longer dominate the market; now, what determines the trend is where capital flows and where investors’ attention is focused—this is the true market logic.

What is the most obvious change? The Bitcoin spillover effect has disappeared. You no longer see the transmission chain of capital from Bitcoin → Ethereum → Altcoins. Meanwhile, retail investors’ attention has shifted to the stock market. The result is: this year has become a year of extreme concentration. Leading assets have absorbed the vast majority of new funds, while the broader market is struggling.

Data speaks—on average, the rebound cycle of altcoins has shortened from 60 days last year to 20 days. This is not a good sign, indicating that market depth is declining.

To break the monopoly of leading assets, at least one of the following three conditions must be met: ETFs and digital asset trust funds expand their investment scope, Bitcoin and Ethereum continue to lead strongly, or retail investors re-enter the crypto market from stocks.

Ultimately, the market trend in 2026 depends on whether these catalysts can truly free liquidity from leading assets or if the centralization trend continues to worsen. Understanding the potential flow of capital and necessary structural adjustments is essential to predicting the future market operation logic.

Shrink from 60 days to 20 days? That's what you call liquidity concentration. Retail investors should wake up.

20-day rebound cycle? How intense is that, it's totally a hot potato game.

The spillover effect is gone, funds are all piling into the top players, this is the current game rule The altcoin rebound cycle has been cut from 60 days to 20 days... sounds pretty scary, market depth has indeed been weakened The failure of the four-year cycle has been noticed for a long time, but no one wants to admit it Fund flow is the real truth, the cycle theory is outdated Retail investors have moved to the stock market, this wave is indeed outrageous, it feels like the crypto circle is about to change A 20-day rebound? Then what’s the point of playing, are robots just doing fake orders? Centralization is becoming more serious, is the spring for small coins really gone? Is this called standardization? It sounds good, but in reality, it just strengthens the vampiric mechanism What is the key to breaking the deadlock? The article didn’t finish.

Reducing from 60 days to 20 days is really outrageous; the crypto world has truly changed.

60 days to 20 days? That's just ridiculous. To put it simply, retail investors are getting wiped out even faster.

The spillover effect is gone, and this is the real truth... Retail investors have all moved to stocks, while the crypto circle is still self-indulging. A 20-day rebound cycle? Oh my, this is just a money-grabbing machine. The leading assets dominate the market, while small coins are being drained dry. Luckily, I saw through it long ago.

60 days to 20 days, this rebound cycle was cut in half, I really can't hold on anymore --- Retail investors have left the stock market, indicating that the crypto world is indeed bleeding, no one is taking over --- It's ridiculous that the spillover effect has disappeared. In the past, when BTC rose, everything rose. Now only big players are involved? --- Such severe centralization leaves no room for small coins to survive. No wonder everyone is bottom-fishing for mainstream coins --- I've long felt that the cycle is failing. Now, it's all about capital, retail investors can only take the hits --- Rebound in 20 days? Then there's no point in doing T trading, there's no profit margin at all --- Industry transition? I think it's just big fish eating small fish, the Matthew effect is becoming more and more obvious

Shrink from 60 days to 20 days? What does that mean? Retail investors have all left, and only whales are playing their own game.

Shrink from 60 days to 20 days? That just means the market lacks depth; retail investors have already left.
