To be honest, the performance arms race really can't drive the ecosystem, and I agree with Sei's approach.

There's nothing much to boast about; supply lines are the key to survival on the battlefield. I've seen too many performance monsters die because of poor infrastructure.

That's right, no matter how much TPS is hyped up, it doesn't matter if people can't actually use it.
最近看了Sei网络的基础设施整合动作,还是觉得挺有意思的。
圈子里经常吹TPS有多快、并行EVM有多强,但说实话——大多数链上应用真正死掉,根本不是因为性能天花板。仔细想想,真正的绊脚石是两件事:一是开发者接入太复杂,二是用户体验设计得太差劲。
性能好不好,架构再优也拯救不了这两个问题。反而是把基础设施搞顺畅了,让开发者能快速搭建,让新用户能顺利上手,这才是应用活下来的关键。
Sei这次的动作就体现了这个思路——把Alchemy、Infura、QuickNode、Privy、Dynamic这些成熟的基础设施服务商整合进来。换句话说,开发者不用自己折腾底层,拿过来就能用。用户流程也标准化了,新手至少不会一开始就被复杂的钱包、签名流程劝退。
这种思路对整个生态会不会形成转折,还要看执行效果。但至少说明了一个逻辑:基础设施配置清爽了,生态才能真正蓬勃起来。
