Profiting from contracts and losing money on contracts are not that mysterious.

Looking at it, there are only two types of people.

One type becomes more and more stable. Before entering the market, they ask themselves three questions—where to enter, what to do if wrong, and when to exit if right. They won't get greedy at the sight of a big bullish candle, nor will they be fooled by illusory V-shaped reversals. They only act when their signals appear. Taking profits is to lock in gains into the system, and stop-loss is to preserve chips for the next round. Emotions are present, of course, but their actions always follow rules—this is what professional traders look like.

The other type becomes more and more chaotic. As soon as a big bullish candle appears, they panic, thinking they'll miss the entire trend, and rush in with full position. Small losses are not cut, medium losses are not cut, and they are even more reluctant to cut big losses, eventually turning trading into prayer. "I feel it will go up again," "If it pulls a little more, I'll exit"—the more they say these things, the smaller their account gets. Their bottom line is: as long as they haven't been wiped out, they have a reason to keep gambling.

To put it simply, the difference is just two words.

Disciplined people make money with rules; greedy people gamble with their mood. The former treats contracts as a business, the latter treats contracts as a machine for turning things around. One eyes long-term stability, the other is addicted to short-term pleasure, and the final results are often worlds apart.

The real test in the contract market is not how skilled your technique is, but your self-control. Few can beat the market, but many are defeated by themselves—it's frightening. This is the reality in the crypto world.
