Privacy, really is the last missing piece of Web3.

Over the past few years, the transparency of public chains has brought quite a few problems—addresses being tracked, transactions being analyzed, privacy laid bare. Many projects tout decentralization, but in the end, user data is fully exposed under the sun.

Some projects have a different approach. For example, certain Layer 1 blockchains incorporate privacy at the architectural level, using confidential smart contracts and zero-knowledge proofs to completely conceal transaction details. The key is that they can still remain auditable and compliant. This is not a simple or crude mixer, but a solution that truly encourages institutions to go on-chain.

Here are a few scenarios:

When you’re borrowing or lending in DeFi, your positions are invisible to others. When tokenizing RWA, holder information is kept completely confidential. Corporate on-chain settlements, so there's no need to worry about competitors spying on business data.

By 2026, regulatory frameworks will become more detailed, and more large institutions will enter the space. Purely transparent chains will hit a ceiling, while chains that can truly protect privacy and meet compliance will likely become the next-generation infrastructure.

Technical leadership is important, but the team’s execution ability and pragmatic attitude are also crucial—projects that steadily promote compliant privacy implementation will ultimately go further.

Privacy is not an add-on feature; it is a genuine demand. This direction is worth paying attention to.
