Recently, Bitcoin has been leading the market rally, with Ethereum following closely behind. In terms of percentage gains, ETH's performance has not been as strong as BTC's, and from a trading volume perspective, whether on major compliant platforms or other mainstream exchanges, there are no obvious signs of increased volume for Ethereum. This fully indicates that the absolute main player in this upward trend remains Bitcoin.
Careful examination of Ethereum's buy-side composition shows that it mainly comes from institutional investors like Grayscale and BlackRock. Although these entities are not small, overall participation is not very enthusiastic. In contrast, Bitcoin's trading volume has expanded significantly. This difference further confirms that the current market attention and participation enthusiasm are far greater for Bitcoin than for Ethereum.
