We've been gradually shifting our community infrastructure away from Discord, expanding into alternative support channels like live chat and email ticketing systems. The reason is straightforward: Discord's structure creates real vulnerabilities when it comes to user security. Even with aggressive moderation and instant bans, bad actors can still slide into DMs to target users with phishing schemes or other scams. It's almost impossible to monitor or prevent those direct messages effectively. The platform's open nature means that despite our best efforts, scammers find workarounds. Moving toward dedicated support channels gives us much better control over user interactions and makes it significantly harder for malicious actors to operate undetected.
