ETHGask completes $12 million seed round financing and is about to launch the airdrop plan for governance token GWEI.
Participants can earn points by completing ecological tasks, and the platform will distribute airdrops based on account historical Gas consumption data. The snapshot time is set for January 19, 2026, 00:00 UTC, at which point the system will calculate the distribution based on each address's Gas contribution and task points.
Users interested in participating can find the Gas Report feature at the top of the official page to generate their personal report and stay updated on their cumulative Gas and expected airdrop weight. This distribution mechanism, linked to historical consumption, gives early ecosystem participants the opportunity to receive a higher proportion of the initial governance token allocation.
Feels like I should quickly generate a report to see how my weight is doing. If I only realize on the snapshot day, it might be too late.
$12 million seed round, indeed invested heavily. Hopefully it's not a rug pull scheme.
Can the gas consumption in the miner era be replaced with real gold and silver? That's the key.
Quickly check your gas report; you might be able to earn quite a bit of GWEI.
Snapshot on January 19th, it's still not too late to join, mainly to stack up task points.
By the way, a funding scale of 12 million is quite impressive in Web3; need to study this project carefully.
This kind of historical consumption-based distribution is really friendly to us early players.
I've been stockpiling Gas for a while, just waiting for this moment.
January snapshot? Still have to wait more than half a year, that's a bit long.
The Gas Report clearly shows off some muscle, has that familiar feel.
This kind of mechanism is indeed friendly to veteran players, unlike some projects that cut the leeks.
Having to do tasks and check data, isn't that troublesome?
$12 million in funding is quite a lot, but whether you can actually get a share depends on luck.
This design that tracks historical Gas consumption is pretty good; it finally rewards those who actually hustle on the chain, not just free-riders.
The problem is, how are the task points calculated? Feels like I have to do tasks on the page every day again, which is a bit tiring...
