Ethereum Technical Analysis Deep Comparative Study

Comparing the trend structures of ETH in 2021-2022 and 2025-2026 reveals interesting findings: the evolution of weekly chart patterns shows a similar logic of retest-repair-breakout; at the same time, when observed on daily charts, the amplitude of oscillations and rebound rhythms within these two cycles also exhibit comparable characteristics.

This kind of historical cycle benchmarking methodology is common in long-term trend analysis of Ethereum. However, it is important to note that cycle similarity does not necessarily mean price repetition—market participant structures, liquidity environments, and macroeconomic backgrounds are all changing. But from a morphological perspective, this comparison can help us understand the current possible cycle position of ETH.

It is worth noting that current on-chain data and off-chain capital conditions are significantly different from the previous bear market recovery phase. If the cycle theory holds, the key is whether the daily chart can effectively break through the previous resistance levels—this will directly determine whether the subsequent trend can continue its repair or if it will retest lows again.
