Speaking of Sui, a public chain with significant influence in the Asia-Pacific region, it has recently caused some trouble—on the night of the 14th, a sudden network outage occurred. The official admitted that the mainnet was temporarily paralyzed, with transaction processing capacity dropping to zero. As a result, popular dApps and block explorers like Slush and SuiScan also went offline, leaving users unable to connect or stuck during transactions. The Sui Core team responded quickly with an emergency, but specific details will have to wait until they clarify the situation.

This kind of incident is not new. Looking back, the situation on November 21, 2024, was even worse—between 1 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. Pacific Time, the Sui mainnet completely went dark, with all validation nodes falling into a crash loop. The entire network was effectively useless, unable to process any transactions. Repeated occurrences of such failures inevitably lead people to wonder: are these high-performance public chains, which boast impressive throughput numbers, sacrificing system stability in pursuit of performance? This is a question that the entire industry should seriously reflect on.

Is it down again? This was a common issue with the Move public chain back in the day. Sui keeps boasting about its impressive throughput every day, but what about stability? It's a complete mess, truly impressive. Having good numbers is useless; it's user funds getting stuck inside that really matters. Once again, we'll have to wait for the official explanation. I bet five cents they'll blame it on some "special circumstances."

I have to say, the frequency of Sui really can't hold up anymore—frequently crashing and black screens. What's the point of talking about high performance? Here we go again, constantly hyping throughput while stability suffers. What's the use of impressive numbers? It has crashed twice in a row. Should Sui reflect on what the real issues are? To be blunt, if this continues, who would dare to put big money into it?

nah this is getting out of hand... second major outage in what, two months? red flags detected fr. all those throughput metrics mean nothing if the whole thing goes dark when it matters most. DYOR but the pattern here screams "sacrificed stability for flashy numbers"

Sui has crashed again? It seems that high TPS is indeed overrated; stability is the real test.

Another one? Sui, are you trying to use us as a stress test... Two crashes in just two months, this speed is truly outrageous.

Paralyzed again? Sui has learned to shut down periodically. High throughput for stability—anyone can do this trade. Continuous explosions... it's really time to reflect. If this continues, who will dare to conduct large transactions on it? Sui's stability issue really needs to be balanced with throughput.

Sui has crashed again, this time really can't hold on anymore --- Having impressive throughput numbers, what's the use? User assets need to be practical to count --- Continuous failures, it really feels like stability has become a shortcoming --- Another round after more than two months, this frequency is a bit high --- Is it really so difficult to balance high performance and stability? --- Mainnet paralysis, transactions reset to zero, this is no small matter --- Sui's constitution, how does it compare to other public chains? --- Another incident? It crashed once last year too --- Promised high efficiency, but still the same result --- In desperate pursuit of TPS optimization, reliability is sacrificed instead

technically speaking, sui's been chasing those throughput numbers so hard they forgot about... y'know, actually *working*. empirically proven disaster at this point lol

Sui, here we go again? Crashing again in less than two months, this number game is getting pretty intense.
