Finally got my Gas ID credential on ETH! 🪢

Since the Beacon Chain went live, I've burned through 7.1505 ETH just on gas fees—yeah, that's what being in crypto actually costs you. Made it to Legendary status though, and the ecosystem's already rewarded me 4000 Beans for the journey.

It's wild how much gas keeps people away from Ethereum activity. Every transaction is this tiny internal negotiation: is this worth the fee? That said, the layer itself keeps evolving. More people hitting these milestones means the network's staying relevant, even with the costs.

Anyone else sitting on some hefty gas tallies?

Over 7,000 yuan in gas fees just to change to a legendary identity. Is this what you call an ecosystem reward? I've said it before, retail investors can't afford to play Ethereum. The golden opportunity is actually on Layer2, and those still trading on the mainnet are just sending money to miners.
