Question for the Suilend community: if Wrapped APT were to be added as a supported asset on the platform, would it actually get used? Drop your honest take—are there real use cases for it in the current DeFi ecosystem, or would it just sit there?

Nah Wrapped APT sounds like an inventory backlog. Does anyone really use it?

How should I put it, wrapped apt sounds pretty redundant. The Aptos ecosystem isn't that great to begin with, so adding it in is just pointless.

Do you really think people will borrow and lend with wrapped apt? It just feels like a gimmick.

The game of piling up liquidity, I've seen too much of it... Wrapped APT essentially just puts a disguise on spot assets; the real highlight is whether it can break the isolated island dilemma of Aptos.

Honestly, wrapped apt is just a false demand. The Aptos ecosystem itself doesn't have much liquidity, so adding it is pointless...

To be honest, wrapped apt is just a burden... unless the Aptos ecosystem suddenly explodes, otherwise it's just sitting there gathering dust.

Hmm... wrapped APT sounds a bit like overly packaged flowers, beautiful but easy to wither. The truth is, it’s likely to become an unpopular asset, unless some wild cross-chain arbitrage opportunity pops up.

Hmm... wrapped apt sounds like one of those things that sound good but no one actually uses. Is that true?

Wrapped APT? Honestly, I don't think anyone would use it. Aptos already has low liquidity, and crossing over doesn't really do much.

Honestly, the wrapped apt thing… depends on whether the Aptos ecosystem itself is active or not. Right now, it feels a bit cold.
The question of honesty first depends on whether Aptos users are willing to cross-chain to SuiLend. I bet five bucks most people are too lazy to bother.
Wrapped assets are always a pain point; they are never used as much as directly using the native tokens, as history has proven.
If SuiLend really adds this, I think it might just be to fill in the protocol categories. The actual usage would be quite awkward.
The cross-chain demand between Aptos and Sui… hmm, I don’t see any urgent need for now.
Instead of adding wrapped apt, it’s better to think about how to boost liquidity in the Sui ecosystem.
