A few days ago, a friend was complaining about the Twitter ecosystem, and the topic shifted to the Kaito leaderboard: "Posting tweets nowadays is no different from going to work; the update frequency has increased, but the weight is still uncertain." This statement indeed hit the pain points of many people.

Thinking carefully, this reflects an interesting paradox—high-frequency output ≠ valuable output. Many people fall into the trap of quantity, treating posting as completing a task. But what truly matters is, when can the community shift from encouraging "talk" to motivating "action"?

Recently, I’ve observed some new moves by certain projects, with a different approach. Instead of having participants constantly produce content, it’s better to design mechanisms that allow them to truly experience the product and participate in building it. This seemingly subtle shift actually touches on the core issue of Web3 incentives: what are we really incentivizing? Popularity or contribution? Volume or actual action?

Projects with real vitality are often not built on stacking tweet counts, but on turning community members into genuine participants and aligning interests properly. When the incentive mechanism upgrades from "retweet to get rewards" to "take action to earn," that’s a true sign of ecosystem maturity.

Honestly, Kaito's leaderboard system is now just a burden, and everyone is tired of the spam culture.

This is finally hitting the point. Really, the era of boosting tweets to climb the charts should be over. Well said. Empty talk is easy for anyone, but the key is whether there's genuine participation. Kaito's approach just incentivized the fake accounts; the mechanism should have been changed long ago. Damn, posting tweets is as exhausting as mining; I'd rather experience the product directly. Alignment of interests is the real way; everything else is superficial. From "retweets mean everything" to "taking action means everything," that's what I want to see. The atmosphere has worsened; everyone is just chasing numbers for the sake of numbers, it's pointless. Agreed, piling up content doesn't solve any real problems.

I totally agree. Spamming daily promotions is indeed pointless; it's better to create some real content.

Oh wow, you're so right. Twitter has really become a content factory assembly line now. Posting more is just a waste; when it comes to influence, it's still very uncertain.

You're right, posting on Twitter now really feels like KPI assessment... What's the use of just piling up numbers, sooner or later it will backfire. --- This is what I want to see: genuine participation > false volume, simple and straightforward. --- Kaito's ranking mechanism is indeed toxic, it encourages all spam posts... it needs to be changed. --- The key issue is that the incentive mechanism is poorly designed, turning everyone into reposting machines, garbage. --- I think the project team should have reflected long ago; making products is not about promotion, they got it backwards. --- The point about aligning interests hits the mark, otherwise it will always be full of speculators.

Hey, it's really too competitive now, no one even looks at the screen when scrolling through posts haha Posting tweets every day and worrying about engagement—this is just KPI assessment with a different skin Exactly, those actually doing the work have no voice, it's ironic I'm already tired of those copy-paste trash tweets Kaito's ranking system really drives people crazy, speechless Instead of competing in quantity, it's better to create some real content, that's the right way

What’s the use of ranking push tweets? It still depends on who is really doing the work.
