January is a turning point for the Dusk ecosystem.
The DuskEVM mainnet has officially launched, providing a solid technical support. Almost simultaneously, the DuskTrade candidate list was also opened, clarifying the direction of the application side. The combination of these two actions creates a different effect—the technical framework and practical applications formed a clear synergy in early 2026. To activate the ecosystem, such dual-driven momentum is necessary.
The current market is still debating compliance and RWA concepts, while Dusk has quietly built the stage. This sense of rhythm is actually worth observing. The next question becomes interesting: which projects will truly land in this ecosystem and utilize this infrastructure? That is the key.

The dual-wheel drive strategy is indeed good, but I am more concerned about how many projects in the ecosystem will truly settle down and use this infrastructure. Right now, there are too many who are just hyping concepts, and there are very few projects that dare to deposit tokens and run contracts.

actually, the real test is gas costs on duskEVM—if they're not crushing optimism's calldata compression by at least 40bps, it's just another chain larp

Hey, finally a project that not only talks big but also gets to work. EVM is live along with applications, I like this pace.
The real test is still ahead. Let's see who dares to truly use this infrastructure.

ngl the real test isn't the mainnet launch... it's whether anyone actually *uses* it. infrastructure without adoption is just expensive theater, tbh

No hype, no negativity. Dusk's recent moves are indeed impressive.
Wait, will anyone really use it?
Mainnet launch + application synchronization, this move is pretty solid.
To put it nicely, it's low-key; to be blunt, it lacks popularity.
Let's see what projects can be implemented in half a year before making further judgments.

Stop bragging; we need to see if there are projects actually being used later on.
