Interesting phenomena have emerged in the Ethereum ecosystem over the past week.
While ETH prices are still fluctuating, wallet creation data has suddenly skyrocketed—last week, an average of 327,000 new wallets were created daily, and by Sunday, the number surged to over 393,000 in a single day, setting a new record high.
What can we infer from this data? Although the market is consolidating, the actual adoption activity on the Ethereum network is clearly increasing. Even more telling is that the total number of non-zero ETH holding addresses has soared to 172.9 million, hitting a new all-time high.
This kind of trend is quite common—prices and fundamentals often do not move in sync. While everyone is still debating short-term market movements, more and more new addresses are entering the space and building wallets, indicating that genuine interest in this blockchain is growing. From an adoption perspective, Ethereum's appeal remains very strong.
