How much is in the ‘whale’ wallet using Korea’s domestic cryptocurrency exchange Coinone? As of the end of last year, it was held at 38.2 billion won, with only one asset, Bitcoin(BTC).
Coinone released a report titled ‘2025 Coinone Story’ containing this information. Coinone is the only domestic exchange that operates a cryptocurrency community.
Last year, the number of customers who attended the community daily was 4,452, nearly doubling compared to the previous year. The customer who visited the most was recorded at 11,202 times.
The most mentioned asset was XRP(XRP). Posts tagged with XRP accounted for 19,755, or 12.8% of all posts. XRP buy verification posts made up 82% of all, higher than sell verification posts, and profit verification posts also accounted for 67% of all, more than twice as many as loss verification posts.
The customer who verified the largest profit last year was SOON(SOON), who earned approximately 9.714 billion won from investments. This is the highest profit verification in Coinone community history, with a return rate of 1043%.
As of the end of last year, the biggest ‘whale’ customer holding the most cryptocurrency on Coinone held about 38.2 billion won worth of assets in Bitcoin alone. Whale members holding over 1 billion won mostly traded Tether(USDT), followed by XRP, BTC, Ethereum(ETH), and Solana(SOL) in that order.
