As of 8 a.m. on the 8th, Bitcoin(BTC) is trading at 132,915,000 won, down 0.82% from the previous day.
Bitcoin(BTC) has fallen below the $91,000 mark. Morgan Stanley Capital International(MSCI) has decided to suspend the exclusion of cryptocurrency strategy reserve(DAT) companies from its index, but market reactions have been limited.
As of the 8th, according to global cryptocurrency market data, BTC traded at $91,072.52, down 2.35% from 24 hours earlier. Ethereum(ETH) declined 3.86% to $3,149.07. XRP(XRP) dropped 5.30% to $2.169, and BNB(BNB) fell 1.57% to $897.49.
The domestic market shows a similar trend. On exchanges, BTC is trading at 1,329,150,000 won, down 0.82% from 24 hours earlier. ETH is trading at 4,597,000 won, down 1.14%, and XRP is trading at 3,163 won, down 2.65%.
The stock prices of cryptocurrency-related companies also showed limited movement. Although MSCI decided not to exclude cryptocurrency strategy reserve companies like Strategy for the time being, there was no rebound in stock prices. Strategy rose only 2.44%, while other DAT companies such as Bitmain Emergent Technology and Sharplink Gaming showed declines.
Meanwhile, traditional financial institutions continue to expand their cryptocurrency product offerings. Morgan Stanley has submitted documents to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission(SEC) to launch an Ethereum(ETH) trust product. On the same day, applications for Bitcoin(BTC) and Solana(SOL) exchange-traded funds(ETF) were also submitted. Morgan Stanley has been gradually expanding related businesses, including providing cryptocurrency investment advisory services to its clients since October last year.
The fear and greed index of cryptocurrency data analysis companies is at 42 points, down 2 points from the previous day, indicating a ‘fear’ state. The index approaches 0 when investor sentiment is subdued, and approaches 100 when the market is overheated.
