#Pre-TGE Seeing this BTW Pre-TGE, I have to be honest. 216 points threshold, 15 points consumption, no announcement of lock-up period—I've seen this combo too many times.
The most heartbreaking part is the phrase "Unlock time may not be announced in advance." In other words, when you participate, you have no idea when you can sell or use. It's like buying a blind box; the opening time is decided by others. I experienced losses early on in this kind of uncertainty, watching tokens unlock while missing the best window.
Pre-TGE may seem like a benefit, but in reality, it's a fundraising tool for the project team. They extend the lock-up period to control the token release cycle and market liquidity. For retail investors, the risks involved are seriously underestimated—you’re not only betting on the project's future but also on the unlock timing, market conditions, and whether you can survive long enough.
If you really want to participate, you must first ask yourself three questions: Can you accept waiting more than a year? If the unlock drops 50%, can you handle it? If this project fails, can you bear the loss? If you can't answer these questions, just pass honestly. The first rule of survival on the chain is not to be killed by uncertainty.
