Tempo Testnet Interaction Tutorial
Tempo is a dedicated L1 for payments, using USDC / USDT directly for Gas, without native tokens.
The testnet is now live, so you can easily run through the basic interactions.
1. Add Tempo Testnet + Claim Test Tokens
Open the official documentation:
Connect your Web3 wallet
Follow the prompts to add Tempo Testnet to your wallet
Click to claim test tokens, which will be credited to your wallet
2. Add test funds to your wallet
On the same page, click "Add funds",
Add test tokens to your wallet for subsequent operations.
3. Show more test tokens
Click "Show tokens",
Add other test tokens to your wallet list for easier switching later.
4. Set Gas fee token
Click "Set fee token",
Choose a test stablecoin as the Gas token (this step is crucial, as it is a core feature).
5. Deploy a contract once
Open the deployment page:
Connect your wallet
Select Tempo Testnet
Click deploy, confirm in your wallet
6. Register a domain name
Open:

7. Mint an NFT

After completing these steps,
Payment, Gas mechanism, contracts, NFTs, and domain names are all interacted with,
