A large investor holding ETH for 9 years suddenly stakes 3598 coins. What are the early holders doing?

An Ethereum veteran with the identity presumably as 0xBilly just deposited 3,598 ETH (worth about 10.8 million USD) into Etherfi's staking pool. What’s more noteworthy is that this ETH has been sitting in his Wallet for a full 9 years - accumulating since the earliest days of ETH.
