Many people like to separate the fundamentals, news, and technical aspects, but I actually prefer to see the fundamentals and technical aspects as two perspectives of the same thing.
If a project truly has a solid foundation and the product is actually developed, you'll see it directly on the technical side—for example, the long-term moving average steadily rising, and the price oscillating upward along the moving average. This is the market continuously digesting the value.
For instance, in this bull market with Sui and Hrpe, if the project's fundamentals are weak, no matter how the technicals are drawn, it’s just superficial; the long-term moving average won't form a spiral pattern, and the overall trend will be chaotic.
As for the news aspect, it mainly reflects short-term fluctuations on the K-line chart. News can push the price further away from or closer to the moving average, but it cannot change the direction of the long-term moving average because it is driven by the fundamentals.
TON is a typical example: despite a bunch of positive news, the trend just can't lift off. Either there are hidden issues with the fundamentals, or the moving average hasn't completed its adjustment. As long as the moving average hasn't turned, no matter how loud the news is, it won't help.
So the core points are twofold:
1. Fundamentals determine whether the price can rise in the long term.
2. The moving average shows how far along the current rise is.
News just makes the story louder, but it can't change the course of the plot. Therefore, many times, don’t simply react to good news about a coin; news can only influence short-term movements and cannot change the overall trend.
