Kalshi has partnered with Phantom Wallet to jointly promote the application expansion of on-chain prediction markets. Recently, eligible Phantom users will gradually gain access to the trial.

This collaboration is quite significant. Previously, participating in the prediction market ecosystem (such as sports event predictions) often required identity verification, including thresholds like a US phone number, which created considerable entry barriers for many non-US users. Now, through wallet integration solutions, users can directly experience prediction market features within a familiar wallet environment, eliminating the cumbersome registration process.

On-chain data shows that the contract deployment was delayed by 72 hours and, unsurprisingly, was only officially activated late at night. An interesting aspect is that the KYC logic on the Phantom wallet side seems to have been bypassed.
