According to Crypto In America, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has concluded its investigation into asset tokenization company Ondo Finance and has not recommended any charges. The investigation began in October 2023, initiated by former SEC Chairman Gary Gensler, to review whether Ondo complied with securities regulations during the tokenization of its U.S. Treasury products and whether the ONDO token should be considered a security. An Ondo spokesperson stated that the company received official notification at the end of November confirming the conclusion of the investigation.
