Emirates Islamic Bank Ruya has opened its platform for Bitcoin investments, partnering with UAE-regulated digital asset infrastructure provider Fuze, becoming the first Islamic bank to allow customers to buy and sell Bitcoin through its mobile app. According to the Chainalysis "2024 Crypto Geography Report," the UAE's cryptocurrency inflow exceeded $30 billion from July 2023 to June 2024, a year-on-year increase of 42%.
