Let me tell you a true story.
I have a relative who has spent years working on construction sites, braving the wind and rain, taking home only five or six thousand yuan a month. His life is very routine: work, get off work, sleep. It seemed impossible for things to change.
But in the past two months, he made as much in the crypto market as he used to make in an entire year.
When he first entered this space, his approach was no different from most beginners—
He’d rush in when the price went up, panic when it dropped;
Get overly excited over a few dozen bucks in profit, but stubbornly refuse to accept a few hundred in losses;
His principal kept shrinking, and his emotions were completely controlled by the charts.
I told him one thing: “Stop trying to catch every single move. Slow down, keep your positions small, and you’ll survive longer.”
Then I set three hard rules for him:
Only make a few trades a day, never chase pumps or dump in panic;
Keep your position size within your comfort zone, never go all in;
If you pick the wrong direction, cut your losses immediately—don’t fight the market.
The first few days, he was a bit impatient, thinking this way was too slow to make money. So I asked him, “Do you want to get rich overnight and lose it all, then go back to the grind? Or do you want to steadily improve your life?”
He gradually got used to this rhythm. He no longer opened positions impulsively and didn’t lose control of his emotions over losses.
Two months later, he messaged me, saying he’d already made back a year’s salary with this method. For the first time, I could hear real ease in his voice.
People who manage to stand firm in this market never rely on luck or guts.
It’s those who know how to control their pace and their hands.
Many treat trading like gambling, but those who truly change their fate always rely on method, not fantasy.
