After using Codex intensively for a month, I eventually switched back to VSCode + Codex plugin.
Before rebuilding the new end-to-end debugging standards for CLI and code, pure CLI programming is basically just an entertainment product: you can't monitor, you can't track, you have no idea what you've written, and it's not possible to produce something usable.
