It's rare to see anyone openly criticizing exchanges, but the recent actions of a certain one are just too much.

KOLs use controversial marketing because personal brands can gain followers through disputes. But you, as a trading platform, are trying to copy that? Do you really think negative publicity can be converted into user trust? Honestly, this kind of "clever" marketing strategy is pretty off-putting.

What’s even more outrageous was that offline event. Luckily, hardly anyone showed up that day—if there had been a crowd and someone reported it, it would have been a direct compliance issue. Would you then create a "limited edition commemorative badge for getting detained" as a joke?

Exchanges should act like exchanges—stop always trying to take the unconventional route.

Seriously, this move is just ridiculous. The exchange is out here doing marketing like a KOL, but the problem is you don't have the moat of a personal brand. That offline event thing is really risky; just hope the regulators don't start paying attention one day. Playing with controversy is fine for small accounts, but when a platform does it, they're just asking for trouble. Whatever, let's just keep watching how this farce unfolds. But honestly, this exchange really doesn't know its place. Should have just stayed low-key, but insists on pulling these stunts. Daring to cross compliance boundaries—are they trying to make headlines?

Seriously, seeing this tactic just makes me laugh. The exchange is here trying to ride the hype like a KOL? A platform that always pulls these tricks—how can users trust you? Compliance isn’t a joke, is it? How do you still dare to be so tough?

Seriously, this move is just outrageous. Is the exchange really playing the "bad publicity is still publicity" game? Wake up. --- Self-deprecating jokes are fine, but unfortunately, no one dares to laugh at the risks that come after. --- To be blunt, they’d be better off just focusing on making a good product. --- Limited edition badges, haha... Never thought an exchange could be so "down-to-earth." --- I just can’t understand why they insist on going down this path. This isn’t what users actually want. --- They even dare to cross compliance lines—this exchange really is a bit reckless. --- This kind of "bad publicity marketing" is basically suicidal for an exchange. --- Feels like the team is desperate for attention, but a crash is coming soon. --- So funny. They should be quietly making money, but instead they insist on stirring up controversy. --- This is what you call over-packaging, and it totally backfired.

I’m really speechless. Exchanges playing black-and-red marketing is just insane, the logic is ridiculous. --- They don’t care about compliance anymore? That offline event is just outrageous. --- Stop trying to act like a KOL and just focus on trading, is that so hard? --- This kind of marketing trick is bound to backfire sooner or later, it makes me uncomfortable just watching it. --- For an exchange to roast itself this hard—what does that say? The more you think about it, the scarier it gets. --- This is hilarious. They really think they can earn trust through negative publicity? Wishful thinking. --- I just don’t get why they insist on doing all this. What’s wrong with running a legit exchange? --- This kind of move really embarrasses web3. Can it get any more ridiculous? --- That offline event is really playing with fire. --- I seriously can’t understand this marketing wave. What on earth are they thinking?
