I saw someone sharing their one-year anniversary with Kaito, and it suddenly reminded me of the crazy moves I made around this time last year.
Back then, to get the early bird badge, I used my main account to set up a small team—basically pulled in all the spare accounts from my studio to register for Kaito. In the end, I actually managed to become ICT, and I was pretty proud of it at the time.
But now... I can't get that account back at all.
Maybe I changed the email, or maybe I didn’t save the mnemonic properly—either way, I just can’t get in now. Every time I see others flaunting their ICT status, I just roll my eyes quietly—hey, I used to be cool too.
That’s how it goes with early Web3 projects: the stuff you get isn’t always stuff you can hold on to, and the things you lose are what you remember most clearly. Still, looking back, Kaito has actually been pretty stable over the past year—at least they didn’t rug, right?
