IOTA used to focus mainly on providing on-chain invoice data solutions for enterprises and governments, but now their approach has changed. The mainnet is now directly connected to the global blockchain network via STG, allowing most mainstream L0 standard assets to be bridged over.

After the major upgrade in June, the results were quite obvious—TVL has been rising steadily over the past six months. With a cross-chain bridge across all chains, users no longer need to go through centralized exchanges to deposit funds. Once this restriction was lifted, judging by the current trend, reaching a billion-level on-chain fund scale by 2026 is not just a dream.

Oops, IOTA's turnaround this time is actually something, but let's wait and see.

Oops, IOTA's transformation this time is actually pretty impressive—from a B2B old-timer to full-chain interoperability. Sounds easy, but it’s actually incredibly difficult. But wait, does TVL shooting up really prove anything? You have to look at real usage. The numbers might look good, but actual transaction volume is the one thing you can’t fake. Aiming for the billion mark by 2026? Man, that prediction seems a bit too optimistic. Cross-chain bridging does solve a pain point, but it’s far from a cure-all. To be honest, all that enterprise-level on-chain business they did before wasn’t for nothing—the trust they built up is finally going to come in handy. But to be fair, if they really can solve the fiat on-ramp bottleneck with centralized exchanges, that would be a major breakthrough. Still, we’ll have to wait until next year to see the real effects.

Damn, this upgrade is really impressive. That previous B2B model was honestly a bit useless. STG connecting the whole chain is a killer move—cross-chain bridges have completely eliminated the CEX barrier. This is what true free flow looks like. The TVL growth over the past six months is insane. If they can really maintain this pace, hitting a billion in 2026 isn’t just talk.

Speaking of IOTA, this turnaround is pretty exciting—they went from being an old B2B relic to playing the whole cross-chain game. That upgrade in June really lived up to the hype.

Is that for real? IOTA still has moves like this? I always thought it was dead.

Wow, IOTA is switching gears so fast, jumping straight from the B2B model to the cross-chain ecosystem—pretty impressive. If the STG bridge really works out, it’ll definitely make things a lot easier. TVL has surged so much in just half a year, clearly everyone’s been waiting for this. But can it really hit hundreds of millions in funding by 2026? Let’s see how it performs next year first. If the cross-chain bridge is really reliable, centralized exchanges are going to start sweating.

Wait, is the TVL really increasing this fast? I haven't seen the data—where can I check?
