Recently at Blockchain Week in Dubai, the new Co-CEO of a leading exchange, He Yi, talked about women's experiences in the workplace. Her perspective was pretty straightforward—there's simply no such thing as "gender privilege" in the business competition arena.

To be honest, her words might sting a bit, but they're real. There are already very few female executives in the crypto space, and even fewer who make it to the position of Co-CEO. He Yi's promotion this time is, in a way, setting an example for women in the industry. But the point she emphasized is clear: don't expect any special treatment just because of your gender—if you want to succeed, you still have to fight for it.

This kind of attitude is actually much needed in the Web3 world. After all, this industry is already highly competitive, with rapid technological iteration and volatile markets—no one is going to go easy on you just because you're a woman. Instead of hoping for "concessions," it's better to let your hard skills speak for themselves.

Hard power is what really matters, that's absolutely true. The space is so competitive that no one is going to indulge you. --- He Yi dares to say this because she has the confidence to back it up. In front of technology, everyone is equal—it's all about brains and execution. --- Agreed, stop thinking you can profit just from your status. Web3 is survival of the fittest—only the strong survive. --- It's harsh, but that's the reality. The women who make it in this space are definitely tough. --- Honestly, this kind of straightforward attitude actually shows more respect for women. Don't use gender as an excuse—that's the real discrimination.

When it comes to hard power, there’s really nothing to say—this is just how the crypto space is, survival of the fittest.

I agree with what He Yi said, but it's best just to listen and not take it too seriously. I used to think along the same lines, but when I went all in at the top trying to catch the bottom, I realized—the market doesn't care how hard you work. A simple head-and-shoulders pattern can wipe you out. The technicals won't give you a MACD golden cross just because you're a woman, and stop-loss levels won't move up for you based on gender. To put it bluntly, the candlestick chart is ruthless to everyone.

He Yi's words are sharp, I like it. No playing the gender card, just competing with real strength—this is the true spirit Web3 should have.

Honestly, words like these sound good but also hit home. Ability is what really matters, so less talk, more action.

It sounds harsh, but that's just the truth. In the crypto space, nobody cares whether you're a man or a woman—they only care if you can make money. I really agree with what He Yi said. Instead of creating some illusion of a "female-friendly" environment, it's better to directly encourage everyone to compete based on hard skills. Honestly, this industry is extremely competitive. It's nice to hear gentle words, but when it's time to act, you still have to step up. That being said, it's already rare for women to rise to the position of CEO, but that can't be used as an excuse. In the end, it's all about ability.

He Yi is absolutely right. In the crypto space, there’s no room for sentiment—it's all about hard strength. --- Well said. Gender doesn’t matter on-chain; what matters is making money. --- True, nobody cares about your gender in the crypto world—they just look at whether you can make a project succeed. --- Hard skills are always the most powerful pass, more effective than any preferential treatment. --- I give He Yi’s perspective full marks. Web3 should be this realistic—let actions speak. --- It stings to hear, but that’s the truth of crypto: survival of the fittest, no exceptions. --- It’s already not easy for female executives to reach this position, and she puts it even more bluntly. --- Totally agree. Take action when it’s needed, don’t beat around the bush. --- Competition in crypto is so fierce, nobody cares if you’re a woman—if you can make money, you win. --- This is real equality: everyone hustling from the same starting line.

Seriously, He Yi really hit the nail on the head with this comment. In this circle, no one will go easy on you just because you're a woman; real strength is what truly matters.
