That being said, I do believe in this logic. Quite a few friends around me in the crypto circle only focus on returns and have never calculated taxes. As a result, they make 500,000 in a year, only to realize after paying a large amount in taxes, and that feeling of regret...

ngl, most retail investors really only focus on the gains and never even think about tax planning... In the end, when they do the math at the end of the year, they end up paying more in taxes than they made, it's hilarious.

Seriously, so many people only care about chasing returns and pay no attention at all to tax planning... Sooner or later, they'll suffer big losses.

Oh, most retail investors are really a joke. They only focus on their account gains and completely ignore taxes, huh?

Really, too many retail investors only think about making quick money, but end up losing more than half because they didn't calculate their taxes properly.

Really, most retail investors only know how to chase limit-up stocks and never factor in tax costs. In the end, all their profits end up working for the government.
