U.S. Vice President JD Vance just went off on the European Union's Digital Services Act, calling it straight-up censorship. His take? Brussels is crushing free speech instead of protecting it, and apparently even some of von der Leyen's own crew aren't fans of the DSA.

This matters way more than it looks. The DSA isn't just about social media drama—it's setting precedents for how governments can regulate digital platforms globally. And when that spills over into Web3 territory, you're looking at potential crackdowns on decentralized protocols, crypto projects, even how DAOs communicate.

Vance's angle is clear: overreach disguised as consumer protection. Whether you buy that or not, one thing's obvious—regulatory battles like this shape the rules crypto builders have to play by. The EU tightens the screws, other regions might follow. Or push back harder.

What is the EU up to again? The DSA stuff is really getting more and more ridiculous.

The EU's DSA should have been criticized long ago—using consumer protection as an excuse, but the result is stifling innovation. It's even worse for Web3; how are DAOs supposed to operate now...

Damn DSA is really outrageous, a bunch of bureaucratic players are using protection as an excuse to implement censorship, Web3 is finished.

Here comes regulation again. The EU's approach is really something else—claiming to protect consumers, but in reality, just stifling Web3. I just want to ask, do we builders still have a way out? If this DSA wave spreads... even DAOs will have to step aside. Vance actually spoke up this time, but the real decision-making power is still on-chain. Whoever moves fastest will survive.
