Google Gemini 3 launches Deep Think mode, significantly enhancing multi-threaded reasoning capabilities

Abstract generation in progress

[Chain News] Google just launched the “Deep Think” mode for Gemini 3—this might be their most powerful reasoning tool so far.

The core of this feature is parallel processing of multiple hypotheses. Simply put, the AI will simultaneously run several lines of thought, then iteratively filter out the optimal solution. The quality of the generated code has noticeably improved, with better attention to detail and the ability to handle complex logic.

It’s especially suitable for scenarios where you need to quickly validate ideas—like data visualization, prototype demos, or technical experiments. However, it’s currently only available to Ultra subscribers. In the Gemini app, just select the “Thinking” model and enable “Deep Think.”

For developers, it’s a solid productivity upgrade, especially when dealing with complex algorithms.

Damn, another Ultra exclusive. This round of milking users is really next level. But can the code quality actually improve? Multithreaded inference sounds impressive, but is it just another gimmick... Deep Think vs o1, honestly, it's hard to say which one's stronger right now. This subscription model—Google really nailed it, everyone has to pay up. For code generation, it feels like AI has already reached the ceiling; the only differences are in fine-tuning and pricing strategies. Has anyone tried it? Is it really faster than Claude? Will this thing be super slow? Running multithreaded probably means more waiting. Yet another "revolutionary" feature, but in the end you have to pay to use it—what a joke.

yo the parallel hypothesis processing here is lowkey genius... reminds me of liquidity routing through multiple pools simultaneously, except google's actually optimizing for signal instead of slippage. multi-threaded reasoning = multi-chain yield farming but make it deterministic lmao

Gotta spend money again, this Ultra subscription is really just milking users. --- Multithreaded inference sounds impressive, but we'll have to see how it actually performs—hopefully it’s not just another PPT feature. --- Deep thinking mode? Honestly, it's still just parameter tuning at the end of the day, but as long as code quality actually improves, that's fine. --- Can this thing help with crypto-related algorithm verification, or is it just another gimmick? --- Developers have to pay to upgrade again, Google is really ruthless with this move. --- Feels like it's a different approach from OpenAI's o1; when it comes to deep thinking, they were ahead of the game. --- It's annoying that only Ultra users can access it—when will this become widely available? --- Parallel hypothesis processing sounds nice, but will there be any limitations when using it to verify ZK proofs? --- As long as it can handle complex logic, there’s finally some real progress in algorithm optimization.

Once again, only Ultra users can access this. This kind of scheme is so annoying... But multithreaded inference is actually pretty impressive; if the code quality improves, it’s a win. Can Deep Think really master complex algorithms? That’s the real question... Why does it feel like every new feature is a privilege for premium subscribers? Parallel processing is great, but will the generation speed go through the roof? Is this helpful for writing smart contracts? Can it save on auditing costs... It sounds alright from the introduction, but you really have to try it yourself to know if it’s worth it. Another upgrade to pay for—Google is copying OpenAI’s playbook.

Another new feature that's only available for Ultra—this strategy is really...

Multithreaded inference? Isn't that exactly what's running through my mind when I'm trading contracts—calculating the liquidation price while checking the funding rate, haha.

Only Ultra users can use it again. This pricing model is really something else. Whether the code quality upgrades or not, I just want to know if it can be cheaper.

Once again, it's a feature only available to Ultra users. When will us poor folks get a chance to try it out? --- Multithreaded inference sounds awesome, but I bet only a handful of people will actually be able to use it. --- The code quality improvement is so obvious? I need to upgrade and try it out ASAP, or I'll get left behind. --- Feels like OpenAI is pulling ahead again. If Google keeps this up, they're really going to fall behind. --- Wait, isn’t this just an enhanced version of o1’s chain-of-thought? Just a different name, right? --- Deep Think is indeed pretty good, but what I care about more is when it’ll be cheaper to use. --- Complex algorithms are finally saved; the previous version was really terrible.

Have to pay again and again to use it, I'm really fed up with Google's tricks.
