## Can SHIB rise to $1? Math tells you the truth

Some people are claiming that SHIB can reach $1. Let's do some calculations first:

The current price of SHIB is $0.000008, with a circulating supply of 589.2 trillion coins. To rise to $1, the market cap would be $589.2 trillion - which is 5 times more than the global GDP of ( trillion ), and 10 times more than the S&P 500's (57 trillion ). There isn't that much money in the world.

The community wants to solve this by burning tokens. It seems theoretically correct, but the reality is harsh: last month, 9.42 billion tokens were burned, at this rate it would take **520,000 years** to burn enough tokens to reach a price of $1. Your 10,000th generation descendants might still be waiting.

And even if 99.99998% of the coins are truly destroyed, each token may be worth $1, but the number of coins you hold has also decreased by 99.99998%—which is essentially in vain.

**Underlying Issue**: SHIB lacks real application scenarios. It is neither a payment tool (too much volatility) nor a store of value (it has dropped 90% and hasn't rebounded). Relying solely on FOMO and community enthusiasm won't last long.

This wave might still be a gamble, don't put your living expenses on the line.
