Elon Musk confirmed on Sunday that the 'America Party' he proposed, an alternative to the Democratic-Republican duopoly, will adopt Bitcoin.#BTC #Elon musk
Musk made the statement in response to a user question on X about whether the 'America Party' would accept Bitcoin. He expressed approval and stated skepticism towards the fiat currency.
Elon Musk announced the formation of the 'America Party' on Saturday in response to the recent enforcement of a $3.3 trillion spending law by Donald Trump, which Musk opposed. The announcement follows a public poll on X, which showed significant support for the initiative among Musk's followers.
Although Musk has made bold statements, there is currently no indication that he has taken concrete steps to launch the party.
Data taken from the Federal Election Commission (FEC) of the US circulating on X today shows that a filing has been made under the name "Elon Reeve Musk" for the "America Party." However, there is no record on the official site, and Musk publicly denied any connection, claiming the filing is fake.
