According to Wu, UK entertainment financing company Goldfinch has announced a collaboration with Web3 studio The Squad, planning to utilize its “Film3” model - a financing and issuance framework that revolves around creators rather than traditional production structures, emphasizing community participation in financing, AI-assisted production processes, and direct-to-audience distribution channels. The Squad’s founder Jordan Bayne will serve as Goldfinch’s head of Web3 and GenAI, while Goldfinch executives Kirsty Bell and Phil McKenzie will act as advisors to The Squad, assisting in integrating Film3 with traditional film production models.
