FAQ
Q1: What should I do if my authenticator codes show as incorrect?
A: First, check your phone's time settings and ensure they are synchronized correctly. Authenticator codes are time-based and require accurate device time. If the issue persists, verify that you're entering the code from the correct Gate account entry in your authenticator app.
Q2: Can I unbind my authenticator if I've lost access to my phone?
A: Yes. If you can log in to your account, click "Security Reset" in Security Center and follow the instructions. If you cannot log in via Web, you must use the Gate App to initiate the reset request by tapping "Unable to Verify" on the verification code page. The review will be completed within 24 hours.
Q3: Can I use both Google Authenticator and Gate Authenticator simultaneously?
A: You can only bind one authenticator at a time to your Gate account. However, you can use either Google Authenticator or Gate Authenticator - both work with the same secret key. If you want to switch between them, you'll need to unbind the current one first.
