Gold Finance reported that Fluent, a Layer2 network, has launched Blended Execution, a new design that integrates multiple virtual machines into a single state machine. This design enables direct interaction between different virtual machine applications without the need for complex cross-chain bridges, enhancing user experience. Developers can use these tools within each virtual machine ecosystem.
Fluent will be the first L2 network to implement a hybrid execution architecture. It will support Wasm, EVM, and SVM in a unified execution environment. Applications written in multiple programming languages such as Solidity, Type_, and Rust will be able to run on Fluent. The network will use a modified version of WebAssembly optimized for ZK operations.
